Job summary

Apotheosis is seeking a CND Analyst to protect and monitor information systems and networks. You will detect, analyze and respond to unauthorized activity, using IA tools and defense-in-depth strategies to mitigate threats.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, eligibility for SCI/IT-1 access, and CSSP-IR as well as IAT Level II certifications. Strong incident briefing and analytical scripting skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DOD Top Secret Clearance and eligibility for SCI and IT-1 access at proposal submission.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience or related formal education.
• Two (2) years in root cause analysis of cybersecurity events/incidents.
• Two (2) years analyzing network traffic and/or system logs.
• DOD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: IAT Level II.
• DOD 8570/8140 CSSP Certification: CSSP-IR.

Responsibilities

• Protect, monitor, detect, analyze and respond to unauthorized activity within assigned information systems and computer networks.
• Respond to CND alerts or emerging situational awareness threats using IA tools and techniques.
• Provide technical analysis and sustainment support for IA tools and applications; assist with defense-in-depth controls to diminish network threats.
