Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced CNC Waterjet Operator in Pottstown, PA to join our growing manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, operating CNC waterjet equipment, inspecting parts, and maintaining high quality and productivity standards.

Waterjet experience is preferred, with strong mechanical aptitude in a fast-paced shop. We offer $22-$30 per hour, excellent benefits, 6:00am–2:30pm shifts, 401K, and room for growth as you help optimize production and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining or waterjet preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Basic shop/math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC waterjet equipment to produce parts.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Set machine offsets, prove programs, and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers and gauges.
• Deburr finished parts and verify quality.
• Identify malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and adjust.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep area clean.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and management to resolve issues.
• Meet production and quality targets.
• Report production status between shifts.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
