Job summary

Pro Mechanical Services is seeking a dependable Water Jet Operator to set up and operate cutting equipment in a metal manufacturing environment. The role is on 2nd shift with a base pay of $25-$30 per hour based on experience and a 15% shift differential.

Candidates should have prior waterjet or CNC operation experience, familiarity with metal fabrication, and the ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Water Jet Operator to set up and operate cutting equipment in a metal manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain production targets while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

• 2nd Shift
• $25 - $30 an hour based on experience

• Previous waterjet or CNC machine operating experience required.
• Experience in metal manufacturing and fabrication.
• Ability to read work instructions and follow production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience operating tow motors and overhead cranes preferred.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently squat, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

• Base pay: $25 - $30 per hour based on experience.
• Additional 15% shift differential for 2nd Shift.
