Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Process Control and Maintenance specialist to operate and set up CNC and manual machines to produce parts that meet strict quality standards.

You will read blueprints, calculate speeds and feeds, perform precise set-ups, and inspect work to ensure tolerances are met through multiple operations. The role offers a daytime shift of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with hourly pay between $23.80 and $37.18 and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans method and sequence of work for CNC machining operations using software or machine programming.
• Read, follow, and interpret 2D drawings or 3D models per work orders.
• Perform math calculations to ensure precision, determining speeds and feeds.
• Set up CNC/NC/manual machines and install tooling; adjust depths and speeds.
• Inspect in-process work, verify dimensions, and adjust as needed; ensure conformance to specs.
• Polish/hone finished parts and design/build jigs or fixtures as required.
• Maintain tooling inventories and use hand tools and inspection devices.
