Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years setting up and operating Citizen and Star Swiss-type CNC lathes.
• Technical Skills: Blueprint reading, GD&T, cutting tools, speeds/feeds, work holding, inspection.
• Software: CNC programming and CAD/CAM; ESPRIT desirable; MS Word/Excel/Outlook familiar.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Work Style: Independent, organized, team-oriented; manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Programming & Setup: Review blueprints/GD&T; develop and optimize CNC programs; set tooling and offsets.
• Quality & Documentation: Create setup sheets; maintain CNC programs and process-control docs.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose issues; perform preventive maintenance and tool ordering.
• Mentorship & Communication: Train junior operators and communicate process changes.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain clean work areas; adhere to ISO/ITAR/CMMC regs.
