You will take parts from blueprint through first-piece approval into production. Responsibilities include writing and editing programs, setting up tooling, proving out, and optimizing cycle times.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC Swiss-type lathes.
• Ability to read, write, and troubleshoot G-code.
• Tsugami experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to take a new part from blueprint through programming, setup, proof-out, and production.
• Strong understanding of tool selection, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences.

Aufgaben

• Write CNC programs for new parts and edit existing programs.
• Read and troubleshoot G-code at the machine.
• Plan machining operations, select tools, and set speeds/feeds.
• Perform complete setups for new parts, including tooling, collets, guide bushings, and bar feeders.
• Prove out new programs and verify clearances for safe production.
• Produce and inspect first-piece parts to verify dimensions and finishes.
• Optimize programs and setups to improve cycle times and tool life.
• Create and maintain setup sheets and tool lists.
• Monitor production and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist operators.
