Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Senior CNC Setup Machinist for multi-axis mills and lathes in a climate-controlled Greater Green Bay facility. You will own complex setups, edit G-code, and perform first-article inspections on aerospace/defense components.

The role requires 3+ years of independent CNC setup experience, ITAR/compliance eligibility (citizenship/green card), and a daily commute within the Green Bay area. Overtime and a loyalty bonus are offered in a direct-hire arrangement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of independent CNC setup experience on HMC/VMC mills or multi-axis lathes with direct G-code editing experience.
• Background in close-tolerance manufacturing (aerospace/defense or medical device preferred).
• Hands-on experience with high-spec CNC machinery and industrial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, independent machine setups on HMC/VMC mills and multi-axis turning centers.
• Edit G-code and macro variables at the controller to optimize tool paths and cycles.
• Perform first-article inspections with precision instruments to verify tight tolerances.
• Maximize cell throughput and reduce cycle times across active machines.
• Mentor and train junior operators and collaborate with engineering on tool-path optimization and DFM reviews.
