Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing Inc is seeking a hands-on CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator for day-to-day production at our Hillside remanufacturing facility. The role requires practical machining experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong mechanical aptitude to support precision work.

The ideal candidate will set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, and work with engineering to improve tooling and processes while maintaining quality and safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Machining or Manufacturing experience.
• Basic blueprint reading required.
• Programming skills not limited to basic machine shop courses.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and reach for 8 hours or more.
• Willing to work overtime and any shift as necessary.
• Communicate and understand work instructions in English.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Select tools, machines, and materials for machinery work.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic and advanced machining tools.
• Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
• Measure dimensions using micrometers and calipers.
• Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines.
• Inspect finished units for defects and conformance.
• Monitor feed and speed of machines during machining.
• Study drawings to determine methods, operations, and tolerances.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine repairs.
• Load/unload machines safely and keep work area clean.
