Job summary

You will read job travelers and drawings, perform first-piece and in-process inspections with standard gauges, troubleshoot routine issues, and help train entry-level technicians while maintaining safety and quality.

High school diploma and 3+ years manufacturing experience required; forklift operation certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing, production, metalworking, or industrial environment.
• Experience setting up and adjusting CNC machinery and tooling.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines including tooling installation and offset adjustments.
• Perform part changeovers and verify machine readiness for production.
• Operate equipment to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Read work instructions and drawings; interpret job travelers.
• Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using gauges.
• Adjust machine parameters to maintain tolerances.
• Troubleshoot routine machining and quality issues.
• Monitor tool wear and perform replacements as needed.
• Maintain production records and downtime data.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality.
• Assist in training entry-level technicians.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; comply with safety standards.
