Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing in Hillside, IL is seeking a hands-on CNC Set-Up Technician/Operator for its day-to-day production. The role requires machinist experience and the ability to work with deep hole drilling and various machine tools to produce high-precision parts.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds, and be comfortable working overtime and rotating shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Machining and/or Manufacturing experience.
• Basic Blueprint reading is required.
• Programming skills not limited to basic machine shop courses.
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and reach for 8 hours or more.
• Willing to work overtime and any shift as necessary.
• Communicate and understand work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Select tools, machines, and materials for machinery work prep.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic and advanced machine tools for precision machining.
• Align and secure fixtures and tools on machines.
• Measure dimensions with micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
• Machine parts to specifications using lathes and milling machines.
• Inspect finished units for defects with precision instruments.
• Monitor feed and speed during machining process.
• Study drawings and engineering information to determine operations.
