Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Senior CNC Setup Machinist for complex, high-precision aerospace/defense components in the Greater Green Bay area. You will own independent setups, edit G-code at the controller, and drive first-article inspections to ensure tight tolerances.

Formación

• 3+ years of independent CNC setup experience on HMC/VMC mills or multi-axis lathes, with direct G-code editing experience.
• Proven track record in close-tolerance aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with high-spec CNC machinery and controls (Mori Seiki, Doosan, Fanuc).
• Strong understanding of feeds and speeds, tool wear analysis, and rigid workholding.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex setups on CNC HMC/VMC mills and multi-axis turning centers.
• Edit G-code at the controller to optimize tool paths and cycles.
• Perform precision first-article inspections with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and optical comparators.
• Maximize cell throughput and reduce cycle times across active machine stations.
• Mentor and train junior operators and troubleshoot floor setups.
• Collaborate with engineering on tool-path optimizations, lean manufacturing initiatives and DFM reviews.
