Job summary

Siemens Energy’s Gas Services division seeks a seasoned engineering professional to lead reliability and performance improvements for CNC and process equipment in a 24/7 steam turbine environment. You will troubleshoot machines, lead cross-functional projects, and optimize maintenance strategies.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, analyze lifecycle costs, and develop preventive maintenance programs while traveling as needed to support global operations.

Qualifications

• AAS/BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related mix.
• 10+ years in manufacturing with CNCs, PLCs and process equipment.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis; AutoCAD or Siemens NX exposure preferred.
• Fluent professional English with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~10%).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot CNC machines, balance spin facilities, and manufacturing process equipment.
• Lead cross-functional projects that integrate new systems and upgrades; coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Analyze maintenance spend and lifecycle costs to determine repair, replace, or upgrade strategies.
• Implement reliability-centered and preventive maintenance programs for critical assets.
• Drive daily communication—manage shift turnovers, align with department managers, and author specifications and purchase requisitions.
• Develop vendor relationships for integrations and service; manage ongoing facility service partners.
• Share best practices with the team and provide off-shift/call-in support as needed.
