The role requires coordinating complex setups and operating CNC and manual lathes, reading manufacturing drawings, and working with standard machine shop equipment.

The candidate should have 5+ years in CNC lathe and mill operations, strong blueprint skills, and knowledge of super alloys and process selection.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with CNC lathe setup and operation.
• Knowledge of machine sequences of operation and tool selection.
• Tool design experience is preferred.
• Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced work environment.
• Parts testing and troubleshooting background is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Set-up and operate a wide variety of machine shop equipment including CNC lathe.
• Interpret complex blueprints and apply knowledge to set-up and operation.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of materials and process selection.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for heat treating, plating and tool purchasing.
• Multi-task effectively.
• Mentor and train new machine operators and assemblers.
• Develop manufacturing processes which become SOPs.
