Job summary

Price Industries is seeking a CNC Turret & Laser Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for turret punch presses, fiber lasers, and laser cutting equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

You will create efficient nesting, troubleshoot production issues, and drive improvements in machine utilization, quality, and productivity while collaborating with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
3 years CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
Experience programming turret punch and laser cutting equipment (Muratec/Amada/Bystronic).
Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
Experience with nesting and CAD/CAM software.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
ERP/MRP systems experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to optimize machine utilization and material yield.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs for turret punch and laser cutting machines.
Generate optimized nests to maximize material utilization and reduce scrap.
Develop tooling strategies to improve cycle times and machine efficiency.
Verify program accuracy prior to production release.
Maintain program files and revisions in accordance with company standards.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machine-related issues on the production floor.
Work closely with operators to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve throughput.
Validate new programs and first-run jobs to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Assist in setup reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor machine performance and recommend process improvements.
