Job summary

PPS-HPS in Ohio is seeking an Advanced CNC Programmer/Technical Lead to drive programming excellence, optimize machining processes, mentor operators, and support future automation initiatives in a hands-on, direct-hire capacity that values craftsmanship and continuous learning.

You’ll lead setup validation, first-piece approvals, and production launches; collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to develop work instructions, fixture strategies, and standardized processes; and guide junior

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC programming with strong G-code knowledge.
• Experience with CAM software: Mastercam, Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, Esprit, or HyperMill.
• Ability to lead setup validation and production launches.
• Mentoring of CNC operators and setup personnel.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs for production machining.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues.
• Improve cycle times, machine utilization, and process efficiency.
• Lead setup validation, first-piece approvals, and production launches.
• Support fixture development and tooling optimization.
• Train and mentor CNC operators and setup personnel.
• Develop work instructions, setup sheets, and standardized processes.
