Complete Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a client’s machine shop in Port Arthur, Texas. This role requires a minimum of five years of CNC programming experience and expert GD&T knowledge; pumps or rotating equipment experience is preferred.

You will create and modify programs using CAM software, develop toolpaths, confirm tooling availability, and review inspection reports to adjust programs, collaborating with machinists, engineers, and quality staff to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Expert GD&T knowledge; interpret complex drawings.
• Proficient with CAM software; create/modify programs.
• Knowledge of CNC controls, tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds.
• Tooling selection and machining strategies for various alloys.
• Interpret inspection reports; adjust programs accordingly.
• Understand workflows, setup, quality controls, and prove-out.
• Maintain program revisions and setup documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication.
• Able to work with machinists, engineers, quality, and leadership.

Responsabilités

• Create, revise, and maintain CNC programs for production components.
• Develop programs using CAM software (GibbsCAM, Inventor CAM, Mastercam).
• Support machining equipment using FANUC and CELOS controls; some conversational programming.
• Review engineering drawings, models, tolerances and work orders before programming.
• Develop machining strategies, toolpaths, feeds, speeds, tooling selections, setup instructions, inspection checkpoints.
• Prepare tooling requirements and verify tool availability before machining begins.
• Collaborate with machinists to address questions, tooling concerns, offsets, and process adjustments.
• Review inspection reports; identify discrepancies and modify programs to meet specs.
• Document programming changes and process improvements for repeatability.
