Complete Staffing LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a client’s machine shop in Port Arthur, TX. This role requires a minimum of five years of CNC programming experience and strong GD&T knowledge.

You will create and modify programs using CAM software and develop machining strategies while coordinating with machinists and engineers. The position focuses on programming, with some hands-on support in the shop to resolve issues, review drawings, tools, and toolpaths, and ensure parts

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years CNC programming experience.
• Expert knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Strong proficiency with CAM software and the ability to create programs from scratch and modify existing programs.
• Knowledge of CNC controls, machining processes, tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds.
• Ability to select tooling and develop machining strategies for various alloys.
• Ability to interpret inspection reports and adjust programs based on dimensional results.
• Understanding of machine shop workflows, setup requirements, quality controls, and program prove-out.
• Experience maintaining program revisions and accurate setup documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with machinists, engineers, quality personnel, and production leadership.

Responsabilités

• Create, revise, and maintain CNC programs for production components and repairs.
• Develop programs using CAM software (GibbsCAM, Inventor CAM, Mastercam).
• Support machines with FANUC and CELOS controls and some conversational programming.
• Review engineering drawings, tolerances, and work orders before programming.
• Develop machining strategies, toolpaths, feeds, speeds, tooling selections, setup instructions, and inspection checkpoints.
• Prepare tooling requirements and ensure tool availability before machining begins.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to address questions, tooling concerns, and offsets.
• Review inspection reports and modify programs to meet specifications.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and leadership to resolve manufacturability concerns.
• Maintain accurate program files, setup docs, and revision histories.
