Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires five to seven years of CNC or program-related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and procedures.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Must be proficient with computers and CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze part drawings to determine optimal machining methods.
• Transfer part geometry from server to CAD/CAM software packages.
• Select proper tools, cutting speeds, and feed rates based on material and tooling.
• Assist in maintaining setup sheets and paperwork; manage documentation.
• Download and upload programs into equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes, quality, and reduce costs.
• Perform prove-outs of new processes and equipment; ensure compliance with quality specs.
• Follow housekeeping, safety, and quality regulations.
