Job summary

Insight Global's new client, a steel fabrication shop in Los Alamos, NM, is seeking a Class A CNC Programmer to join their team. The role involves setting up, programming, and operating 3-5 axis CNC equipment to produce high-precision components from technical drawings.

Ideal candidates will have deep experience with high-precision machining, GD&T, and a range of measuring tools, plus proficiency in CAD/CAM software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Class A/Senior Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Advanced CNC machining/set up experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Strong proficiency with a variety of measuring/machining tools and equipment.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mills, multi-axis machines.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate 3-5 axis CNC equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings and GD&T to produce parts.
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards during machining.
