Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years CNC experience.
• Technical certificate or associate’s degree in CNC programming with 4+ years.
• 3–5 years direct CNC programming in a multi-axis manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read GD&T and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• CNC Programming: develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, routers, grinders, EDM, and honing.
• Software expertise: use Siemens NX for CAD/CAM modeling; Vericut for simulation.
• Blueprint analysis: apply GD&T to ensure strict spec adherence.
• System integration: coordinate software with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Validation & testing: run tests and adjust programs to meet specs.
• Quality control: inspect parts with precision tools and analyze bottlenecks.
• Technical guidance: provide direction on complex projects to align with goals.
• Collaboration & documentation: work with Design/Quality/Production; train machinists.
• Maintenance support: assist with preventive care and basic troubleshooting.
