Ultimate Staffing is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer in Camarillo for an aerospace-focused shop. The candidate will program and operate CNC mills and lathes, emphasizing Mastercam programming and 4-axis capabilities in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires a strong background in CNC programming from scratch, GD&T interpretation, and precision measurement. Competitive pay and O/T opportunities are offered.

Formación

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including programming from scratch
• Mastercam experience required; ability to program lathes and 4-axis mills
• Ability to inspect own work with precision measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Experience in high-m mix, low-volume production environments

Responsabilidades

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe operations
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation
• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes
• Conduct machine setup and tooling adjustments per job specs
• Perform inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure part quality
• Troubleshoot machining issues and drive process improvements
• Mentor junior machinists and contribute to training
