Job summary

Zohorecruit in Livermore, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for a full-time, on-site role. You will program from engineers' solid files, communicate instructions to machinists, and maintain the shop schedule while collaborating with manufacturing managers and CAD designers.

Requires minimum 5 years of relevant experience, Mastercam proficiency in 2D/3D, and the ability to work overtime. Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, in a shop that handles metals and plastics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience; ideally 10+ years.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D Mastercam programming.
• Ability to work periodic overtime during crunches.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• General Windows PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Program using Mastercam 2025; 2D and 3D, learning up to 5-axis programming.
• Handle CNC operations including set-ups.
• Engage in high-speed machining with various materials.
• Oversee complex set-ups with machinists.
• Design and machine complex fixtures.
• Work in a fast-paced environment from verbal instructions.
• Document and communicate effectively in English.
• Work with metals and plastics.
