Maverick Group US LLC in Loves Park, IL, seeks a senior-level CNC machinist/programmer to lead large-part machining on first shift. You’ll set up, program, and optimize a twin-column vertical mill lineup, mentor operators, and push for standardization across the area.

Expect hands-on work, heavy parts (800–1500+ lbs, up to 12–14 ft), FANUC control, and opportunities to expand offline programming and CAD/CAM integration, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Formación

• Experience with large vertical milling machines and 800–1500+ lbs parts.
• FANUC control experience required.
• Ability to program or modify existing programs.
• Strong communication and collaboration.
• On-site, first shift in Loves Park, IL.

Responsabilidades

• Perform full setups and operate large vertical milling equipment.
• Program new jobs and modify existing programs.
• Troubleshoot non-standard issues; use probing and restart programs.
• Safely handle heavy parts; operate cranes.
• Develop and standardize processes across multiple machines.
• Collaborate with operators and peers to improve machine utilization.
• Assist with expanding offline programming.
