Machine Fabricating & Weight Equipment in Uniontown, PA seeks a senior CNC programmer‑setter to lead Haas VMC setups on VF-4 and VF-11, run small batches and custom parts, and ensure strict tolerances. You will translate blueprints and CAD/CAM data into reliable machining strategies, set offsets, edit G-code, and verify first articles.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC milling experience, strong GD&T skills, and familiarity with Fusion 360 or similar CAM tools.

Qualifications

5+ years of CNC machining with strong mill setup capability.
Strong GD&T reading and inspection skills.
Fluent with G-code, offsets, tooling, and control troubleshooting.
CAD/CAM or programming exposure (Fusion 360 is a plus).

Responsibilities

Own setups and operation on Haas VF-4 and VF-11 vertical mills.
Translate blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM into reliable machining strategies.
Make offsets and adjustments; perform basic program edits; select tooling with intent.
Inspect in-process parts and consistently hit required tolerances.
Troubleshoot quality, tooling, and machine issues to maintain throughput.
Balance custom work with small production runs across multiple industries.
Adapt to shifting priorities and keep the shop floor moving.
Keep your area clean, safe, and organized.
