Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Graniteville, SC is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to own advanced CNC programs for high-value components. You will develop, simulate, and prove-out multi-axis machining sequences, ensuring design intent and dimensional accuracy across materials.

As the senior technical authority, you will mentor peers, lead shop-floor prove-outs, and drive continuous improvement across machining cells in the Power Systems group serving energy, industrial, marine, and defense sectors.

Qualifications

• Completed technical apprenticeship with further qualification as Technician or Master; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Define and own CNC machining strategies for complex, high-value components.
• Develop, program, simulate, and maintain CNC programs for multi-axis machines.
• Lead shop-floor prove-out, commissioning, and optimization of CNC programs.
• Serve as senior technical authority for CNC programming and mentor other engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement: cycle time, tooling, quality and process robustness.
• Develop and deploy best-practice machining concepts and CNC programming standards.
