Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Aiken, SC seeks a Senior CNC Programmer to own machining strategies for complex components such as engine blocks and connecting rods. You will develop and simulate multi-axis CNC programs, and lead on-site prove-out and optimization to achieve stable, repeatable production.

The role requires an apprenticeship or equivalent, and experience with SAP and process capability. You will mentor other programmers and drive continuous improvement across machining operations.

Qualifications

• CNC programming experience in high-volume machining environments.
• Experience with process capability SPC and in-process probing methods is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and standard manufacturing documentation practices may be required.

Responsibilities

• Define and own CNC machining strategies for complex, high-value components.
• Develop, program, simulate, and maintain CNC programs for multi-axis machining centers.
• Lead shop-floor prove-out, commissioning, and optimization of CNC programs.
