Job summary

Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) in the United States is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support the development and optimization of CNC programs for complex aerospace components. The role is hands-on, focusing on programming, process improvement, troubleshooting, and supporting production.

You will develop and maintain CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining and turning centers, while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and

Qualifications

5–10 years of CNC programming experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining, turning, and/or grinding.
CAM experience with Esprit, Mastercam, Edgecam, GibbsCAM, or Fusion 360.
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
Aerospace or other precision manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining and turning centers.
Support machining process development, tooling, fixturing, and work instructions.
Troubleshoot CNC programming, tooling, and machining issues.
Perform time studies and support production efficiency improvements.
Use SPC/process capability data to improve quality and first-pass yield.
Support NPI, cost estimating, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
