Qualifications

• 7+ years in CNC programming and machining within aerospace or high-precision environments.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining, plastics machining preferred.
• Proficient with CATIA and G-code/M-code programming.
• Familiar with GD&T and AS9100 quality standards.
• BS in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills.
• Support manufacturing of precision plastics, composites, and aerospace tooling.
• Design and qualify tools, fixturing, and work-holding solutions.
• Establish machining parameters and cooling/lubrication strategies.
• Utilize VERICUT for program validation and collision avoidance.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to develop accurate toolpaths.
• Research and implement emerging machining technologies and tooling solutions.
• Work with suppliers and attend industry events to benchmark new technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new CNC machinery to support future capability.
• Support capital investment decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
