Job summary

Micro-Tronics, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a seasoned CNC Programmer to develop advanced multi-axis machining programs for high-precision aerospace components.

You will optimize cycles, ensure first-time right production, and collaborate across Machining, EDM, Tooling, Engineering and Quality to drive safety and quality. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of CNC programming experience, strong G-code/M-code knowledge, and hands-on CAM tool experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit or similar).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit, or similar).
• Strong understanding of G-code/M-code and CNC machine operation.
• Experience with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines (e.g., Haas, Okuma, Mazak, Doosan).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs for complex parts with multi-axis milling and turning.
• Set up and run CNC programs within the machining area.
• Determine cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• Design work holding/fixturing for milling and EDM jobs.
• Modify existing programs for different machines or improved performance.
• Produce detail drawings, setup sheets, and MOTs for manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.
• Update and organize files to current revision levels.
• Set up and run new product(s) through first article approval.
• Direct collaboration/communication with vendors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment (5S standards).
• Collaborate with the Machining, EDM, Tooling, Engineering, and Quality departments.
