Job summary

Bolsan seeks an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, test, and optimize Mastercam programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining on aerospace components, tooling, and fixtures. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and machine-shop personnel to implement new products, resolve manufacturing issues, and improve cycle times.

The role requires hands-on CNC programming and machining experience, strong GD&T interpretation, and a proactive approach to tooling and process improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years CNC programming experience using Mastercam.
• Minimum of five years combined CNC machining and programming experience preferred.
• Experience programming 3-axis CNC machining centers required.
• Experience programming 4- and 5-axis CNC machining strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam 2025/2026 for 3, 4, and 5-axis machining.
• Develop machining methods, operation sequences, and toolpaths from drawings and specs.
• Design or support the design of fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids.
• Select cutting tools, holders, workholding methods, feeds and speeds.
• Create setup documentation including setup sheets and tool lists.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements.
• Generate and validate G-code and M-code with post-processors.
• Test, simulate, and prove out new or revised programs at the machine.
• Work with machinists and Quality during first-piece inspections.
