Job summary

XWING in Santa Cruz is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer for the second shift to improve and optimize R&D CNC programming activities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing CNC programs using Fusion 360, operating various machining equipment, and ensuring quality control.

The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience with CNC equipment, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in GD&T. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including paid time off and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience as a Programmer with prior or combined machinist experience.
• Ability to program and machine using Fusion 360 in 3 and 5 axis.
• Capable of effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and work with machinists over second shift.
• Prototype machining via creating and editing CNC programs.
• Communicate job priorities to second shift.
