Lead on the floor, partner with Operators, Quality, and Engineering, and mentor junior staff. A strong background in Solid Edge, GD&T, and multi-axis machining is required, with a track record of improving cycle times.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Strong knowledge of cutter technology for machining and turning.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and GD&T.
• Experience building and modifying operation sequences from blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes for low- and high-volume jobs.
• Read, interpret, edit, and troubleshoot Fanuc M and G code.
• Use Mastercam daily to generate and optimize programs.
• Reprocess and reprogram parts to keep jobs on schedule.
• Reduce setup times and optimize cycle times on the floor.
• Collaborate with Engineering on machining challenges and DFMs.
• Support first-run programs alongside operators.
• Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to the team.

QuickPro Staffing is hiring a Senior CNC Programmer for a well-established Cincinnati-area manufacturing company. This is a direct hire role for an experienced programmer who can work independently, lead on the floor, and partner with Operators, Quality, and Engineering to keep production running smoothly. What You'll Do

• Program CNC mills and lathes for both low-volume/short-lead-time jobs and high-volume production
• Read, interpret, edit, and troubleshoot Fanuc M and G code
• Use Mastercam daily
• Reprocess and reprogram parts for alternate machines to keep jobs on schedule
• Reduce setup times and optimize cycle times through improved machining processes
• Partner with Engineering on machining challenges and DFM improvements
• Support first-run programs alongside machine operators
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the team

What You Bring

• 7+ years of CNC programming and machining experience
• Strong knowledge of cutter technology for machining and turning
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and GD&T
• Experience building and modifying operation sequences from blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency in Solid Edge and Mastercam 2022 (or a close version)
• Ability to program 2-axis lathes with live tooling, plus vertical/horizontal machining centers up to 3+2 axis
• Solid understanding of tool wear, cutter compensation, and modern tooling

Nice to Have

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent experience
• Mazatrol/MazaCAM programming experience

Work Environment

Active manufacturing setting requiring frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and ladder climbing, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Good vision (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth) required. Occasional elevated noise levels.
