This role involves preparing solid models, designing tooling, creating CNC programs, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure top-quality and efficient machining operations.

Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer data for manufacturability.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and part handling systems.
• Program and operate 5-axis CNC machines (Mastercam, SolidWorks).
• Set up machines and ensure high-performance operation.
• Maintain CNC equipment and suggest process improvements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Support quality control and continuous improvement efforts.
• Train team members and support project scheduling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CNC programming and operation (5-axis experience required).
• Proficient in Mastercam, SolidWorks, G&M code.
• Strong blueprint reading, math, and analytical skills.
• Experience in a production or R&D environment.
• Knowledge of composites and general fabrication methods is a plus.
• Technical degree preferred.
