Job summary

Align Precision Corp. in Florida seeks a skilled CNC Machine Operator I to set up, program, and run multiple CNC machines ensuring tight tolerances. You will read blueprints, use CMMs, and verify measurements against spec drawings.

You will mentor Level I operators, troubleshoot tooling and fixture issues, and work with engineering to improve setups and reduce scrap. Shift: M-Th 3:15p-1:45a with second shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of machining experience, preferably in a high-precision or military environment.
• Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines and reading blueprints/ drawings/ CAD models.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM) and understand GD&T.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties of a Level I CNC Machine Operator without assistance.
• Operates a minimum of two types of CNC equipment and assists in training Level I operators.
• Reads M codes & basic G codes; changes/breaks worn tools independently.
• Interprets drawings and validates measurements using CMM and manual tools.
• Collaborates with leads/engineers to improve setups and reduce scrap.
