Job summary

Midwest Precision in Eastlake, OH, is seeking a Senior CNC Operator for mill or lathe work. Immediate openings with first and second shifts. Pay up to $35/hour based on experience, with a strong emphasis on precision manufacturing.

The successful candidate will set up and operate CNC mills or lathes, read blueprints, select tooling and fixtures, perform tool changes, and inspect parts to meet tight tolerances. Experience with GD&T and measurement equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of CNC machining experience.
• Advanced experience operating CNC mills or CNC lathes.
• Setup experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding
• Perform tool changes and machine offsets
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Identify and correct machining or quality issues
• Complete required production and inspection documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support and assist less-experienced operators as needed
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
