Job summary

Midwest Precision in Eastlake, Ohio is seeking a Senior CNC Operator skilled in milling or lathe operations to join our fast-paced, precision-manufacturing team. You will set up and run CNC machines, interpret drawings, select tooling, and ensure parts meet strict dimensional and quality specs.

We offer immediate openings on first and second shifts, with competitive hourly pay up to $35 based on experience, and a safety-focused, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of CNC machining experience.
• Advanced experience operating CNC mills or CNC lathes.
• Setup experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding
• Perform tool changes and machine offsets
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
• Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements
• Identify and correct machining or quality issues
• Complete required production and inspection documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Support and assist less-experienced operators as needed
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
