Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Grayslake, IL is seeking a CNC Production Operator III on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm). You will set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts per customer specifications, loading materials, and performing basic tooling changes.

You will read blueprints, measure parts with micrometers and calipers, maintain quality and safety, and collaborate with the Cell Lead and Quality Control. TE offers comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Basic ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Mathematically literate.
• Communicate effectively. Ability to Read, Write and Speak English.
• Knowledge of various types of equipment and processes such as Air and power tools.
• Rulers, tape measures and gauges.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Read blueprints/drawings to fabricate products.
• Load materials onto the machine and perform basic tooling changes.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gages, and tape measure for inspections.
• Maintain productivity to production standards.
• Communicate with Cell Lead on discrepancies in drawings or BOM.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with Quality Control Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
