Job summary

TE Connectivity in Grayslake, IL is seeking a CNC Production Operator III for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm). You will set up and operate CNC machines to produce components according to customer drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include basic CNC setup, tooling changes, loading materials, inspecting using micrometers and calipers, and coordinating with the Cell Lead and Quality Control to resolve discrepancies while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required/preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Strong English communication (read/write/speak).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines per preset programs.
• Load materials, perform tooling changes, and verify dimensions.
• Inspect parts during production using measuring tools.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and output in line with standards.
• Collaborate with Cell Lead and Quality Control on issues.
