Job summary

Bel Fuse Inc. in Minnesota seeks a Modeling & Tooling Technician for Cinch Connectivity Solutions. You will use CAD/CAM to generate CNC programs, perform complex machine setups, and inspect parts to ensure conformance to print.

You will plan, fabricate and construct dies, tools and fixtures, perform routine maintenance, and work with Engineering, Production and Quality Assurance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related discipline is required.
• 5 years of experience with conventional, manual, and CNC machine tools or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD/CAM to generate CNC programs and perform complex setups to meet print and process specs.
• Inspect finished parts with microscopes, tool maker's scope, micrometers and gauges to ensure quality.
• Plan, fabricate and construct dies, tools and fixtures; perform routine maintenance and collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Production and QA for continuous improvement.
