Job summary

B&A Precision in Milford, CT is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machine Set Up Technician to set up and operate 3- to 5-axis CNC mills with Fanuc controls. You’ll read blueprints, verify tolerances with gauges, and maintain strict quality standards.

You will report to the shop President and collaborate in a team environment to keep production flowing and parts meeting exact specifications. A minimum of five years’ experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC milling experience.
• Able to set up and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis vertical CNC mills.
• Familiar with Fanuc controls and G-code programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T knowledge desirable.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
• Interpret blueprints and inspect first-piece and production parts.
