Job summary

Jobot in San Fernando, CA is seeking a Permanent CNC Programmer to join our Engineering team. You will create and improve CNC programs for milling machines and ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of CNC programming experience with Fanuc controls, Mastercam, SolidWorks, and CIMCO. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficient in Fanuc controls and CNC programming.
• Experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, and CIMCO.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling and production methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programs for milling machines and horizontal mills using Fanuc controls.
• Use Mastercam, Solidworks and CIMCO software to design and optimize machining processes.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create and modify NC codes.
• Perform regular tests and inspections to ensure that machines are working optimally.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot any issues and improve machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Provide technical support and training to the machine operators, as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
