Job summary

Diamond America Corporation in Mogadore, Ohio, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to produce extrusion equipment. You will ensure project specifications are met, quality is excellent, and machines are set up and run to meet or beat routed times.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations to drive growth and maintain production flow. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 35 years of CNC experience (extrusion a plus), ability to program with G & M

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
• 35 years experience with setup and operation of CNC machines; extrusion a plus.
• Proficient in G & M code programming.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Strong math with analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit the majority of machine code.
• Perform all setups unassisted.
• Calculate speeds and feeds to meet routed times.
• Maintain safe operations by following procedures and regulations.
• Follow company quality processes and standards for tasks.
• Keep the work area clean and machines maintained.
