Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician III to support and improve production equipment through preventative maintenance and collaborative work with Maintenance and Production teams. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to documented procedures.

The candidate will perform advanced PMs on CNC machinery, diagnose complex issues from manuals/diagrams, and coordinate with suppliers for parts.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience performing PMs and maintenance on mechanical systems.
Intermediate level experience with CNC equipment.
Intermediate level experience working with computers and MS Products.
Experience managing spare parts inventory.
Must be able to read and write English.
Work on feet for entire shift; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability.
Performs advanced level PMs on equipment.
Execute projects assigned on equipment improvements, rebuilds, or troubleshooting.
Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced equipment problems following manuals and diagrams.
Assist other Maintenance Techs on advanced PMs and equipment troubleshooting.
Track maintenance activities in CMMS.
Ensure proper spare parts needed for PMs are maintained, on hand, and available.
Review equipment failures with team to adjust PM frequency if needed.
Perform duties with minimal supervision.
