Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Manufacturing Tech I to process components through liner operations. You will set up and operate machinery, read drawings, and follow strict quality procedures while maintaining safety and high productivity.

The role requires basic English literacy, high school education, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Overtime and standing for shifts are common. You will contribute to a team that values integrity and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Follow detailed instructions and perform accurately at a rapid pace to meet deadlines.
• Manual dexterity and ability to perform complex, repetitive tasks quickly and methodically.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints/ drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery in support of production.
• Follow safety as the foundation of daily work.
• Complete daily production logs and required equipment checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Comply with internal quality systems and procedures.
• Read drawings and documents to ensure specifications.
• Communicate effectively with team; work collaboratively.
