Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Alsip, IL is seeking a CNC Maintenance Mechanic III for a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm shift, with weekends as needed. This full-time hourly role offers a starting pay of $36.40 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus, reflecting our commitment to safety and manufacturing excellence.

The candidate will install, troubleshoot, and repair CNC and manual machines, read blueprints, and support preventative maintenance in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in manufacturing with mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic machinery.
• Maintenance experience with CNC and manual machines.
• Two or more years troubleshooting hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and building systems.
• Two or more years reading blueprints, prints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Two or more years using measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and follow safety procedures to protect coworkers and property.
• Promote safety culture and report unsafe practices.
• Keep a clean, safe workspace and participate in preventative maintenance.
• Prepare and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts.
• Lead equipment installation, removal, or relocation as needed.
• Interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and troubleshoot repairs.
• Apply Lock Out/Tag Out procedures during service work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
