Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant machining experience required.
• Experience with CNC mills and lathes; manual mills/lathes preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Proficient in selecting tooling, speeds, and feeds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, as well as manual machines.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Machine parts through drilling, milling, turning, and related operations.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, speeds, and feeds per material and job.
• Program, edit, and transfer CNC programs using Fanuc, G code, and M code.
• Develop workholding setups and soft jaws as needed.
• Maintain tight tolerances, including ±0.002 inches when required.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain quality standards.
• Follow SOPs and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team to resolve setup challenges and maintain quality.
