Staff Management | SMX in Downers Grove, IL is hiring Machinists III for direct hire, full time, with 2nd and 3rd shifts. Pay ranges $22–$28 per hour, climate-controlled environment, paid training, weekly paychecks and benefits including medical, dental, 401k.

Ideal candidates will have CNC machinist experience and strong attention to detail. Duties include troubleshooting, training less experienced machinists, and supporting design for manufacturability with process sheets and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related machining experience
• Advanced knowledge of setting up multi-axis machines
• Ability to read and interpret English blueprints and work instructions
• Strong math calculation skills
• Ability to stand for 8 hours

Responsibilities

• Lead as team leader as required to cover absenteeism
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and adjustments
• Train less experienced machinists
• Collaborate with product development on manufacturability
• Follow process sheets and blueprints
