Job summary

JVMH Infotech in Morristown, TN is seeking a Master Machinist to take prints from start to finish on CNC and manual machines. You will read prints, program parts in Mastercam, set up Haas mills and lathes, run jobs, and verify tolerances against the print.

Candidates should bring proven ability to inspect their own work, finish parts, and track jobs in the ERP system, with a commitment to quality, on-time delivery and safety.

Qualifications

• Read the print and determine the process.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• Set up a mill or lathe and prove out your own program.
• Run to tolerance and fix problems yourself.
• Inspect your own work against the print.
• Finish parts (debur, grind where needed) and prep for shipping.
• Track the job in our ERP system for traveler accuracy.
• Operate safely to deliver on time.

Responsibilities

• Read the print and determine the process.
• Program parts in Mastercam.
• Set up fixtures, tooling, and offsets on Haas mills/lathe.
• Run the job, maintain tolerances, troubleshoot as needed.
• Inspect finished parts against the print.
• Finish parts and prepare for shipment.
• Record progress in ERP for traveler alignment.
• Operate safely and meet on-time delivery goals.
