Career Crunch is seeking a machinist who can take a job from print to finished part with minimal supervision. You will read prints, program in Mastercam, and set up Haas machines, then run the job, inspect your work, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will work with Haas VF-2D/ VF-4 mills, UMC-500 5-axis mill, lathes and grinders. The role requires hands-on experience in CNC and manual machining, with a focus on quality and safety.

• Program the part in Mastercam.
• Set up the machine: fixtures, tooling, work offsets.
• Run the job, hold tolerances, fix issues.
• Inspect your own work against the print.
• Finish the part: deburr/grind and prep for shipment.
• Track the job in our ERP system for travelers and tracking.
• Run the job safely and get it out on time.

We need a machinist who can take a job from print to finished part and not need hand-holding.

What you'll do

• Read the print. Figure out the process.
• Program the part in Mastercam.
• Set up the machine: fixtures, tooling, work offsets.
• Run it. Hold tolerance. Fix problems yourself.
• Inspect your own work against the print.
• Finish the part: deburr, grind where needed, and get it ready to ship.
• Track the job in our ERP system so the traveler stays right.
• Run the job safely, and get it out on time.

What you bring

• Proven experience running parts start to finish, CNC and manual.
• You read prints without help.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• You can set up a mill or lathe and prove out your own program.
• You inspect your own parts and know when one is out.
• You take Quality, On-Time Delivery and Safety as non-negotiable.
• No certifications required. We hire on capability and experience.
