Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Master Machinist for a full-time, on-site role in Morristown, TN. The ideal candidate will independently take parts from drawing through programming, setup, production, inspection, finishing, and shipment, using Mastercam and Haas equipment.

Experience with precision job-shop machining, 5-axis capability, and strong quality/safety focus are essential. This hands-on position requires reading prints, setting up mills/lathes, and delivering on-time parts.

Responsibilities

Master Machinist | CNC & Manual Machining

Morristown, TN 37814 | Full-Time | On-Site

Heartline Staffing is recruiting an experienced Master Machinist for a full-time manufacturing opportunity in Morristown, Tennessee.

This is a hands-on precision-machining position for an experienced machinist who can independently take a job from technical drawing through programming, machine setup, production, inspection, finishing, and completed part.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Read and interpret prints, blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Determine the machining process required to produce each part.
• Program parts using Mastercam.
• Set up mills and lathes, including fixtures, tooling, and work offsets.
• Prove out programs and independently correct machining issues.
• Run CNC and manual machining operations while maintaining required tolerances.
• Inspect your own work against drawings and specifications.
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and make appropriate corrections.
• Complete finishing operations including deburring and grinding when required.
• Prepare completed parts for shipment.
• Track assigned jobs and traveler information through the ERP system.
• Maintain strong standards for quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
